Poem (19) - Betrayed

Um. Yes. It's kinda...dark? But I was in such a...raw... Yeah. Raw mood that these words just came out even though really.... they had nothing to do with anything. haha! Go figure. Blah.

(And yes. It has a tune. >.< But I could never sing it for the life of me. Cuz I can't sing the high part. ERG.)

~Betrayed~

Sometimes all I craved
Was a little warm embrace
But I left with cold smiles
And time dripping from dials
How come it feels this way?
Why does it have to stay?

All I wanted was your time
What I got was an empty line
From when I said I was here
To catch the falling tears
What does it matter now?
Why must I try to be found?

Look at me in the eyes
Try to prove that you tried
I'll look back and laugh someday
Because I know you never stayed
Why must you contemplate?
Do you want to be to late?

Haven't you done enough?
Walk away from this stuff
My heart can't take being broke again
Couldn't you just stop trying to get in!
Because I'm quite sick of this
I never wanted that missed kiss
