Poem (24) - Ben

A smile to face the day
With an embrase to say
What lies behind the ties
Of soft, gentle sighs

Crinkled lines beside eyes
Growing laughter can not die
As the giggles increase in sound
Fragrantly they swirl around

Wrapped up amongst arms
Feeling safe and from harm
Leaning forward, breathe deep
Little kisses upon my cheek

Time passes while pondering
Lots of little things wandering
Through the paths of our minds
Time is never too far behind

Traipsing along the trail
Feet piloting without fail
To where will this road lead?
Maybe mysteries unseen?

Whispering trees lean around
Starlight twinkling abounds
Listening to your rhythmic heart
Makes me hope we never part
